Great relationships are possible, but they’re not typical. God created and designed relationships for our good, and He provides relational wisdom that’s been proven effective for thousands of years. Our relationships often fail us, however, because we ignore God’s wisdom and allow the world to corrupt what God wants for us. In late 2021, First Church entered a new season of ministry. Our church family boldly trusted God's calling on us for 100% engagement. We named the journey, "Unstoppable."  Unstoppable is Kingdom expansion rooted in our sincere desire to impact the 918 and beyond with the life-changing message of Jesus. In the last two years, attendance, serving, giving, and most importantly, the number of people baptized at First Church reached an all-time high in our 117-year history. Through Unstoppable generosity, we've been able to support, and in some cases, expand support for ministry partners locally and globally all while expanding our N. Garnett Road campus. We are currently in the largest phase of expansion for the Unstoppable initiative. When it's complete, we will have a larger elementary ministry facility to teach future generations the good news of the gospel.
